Midlife Unplugged

Real conversations. No polished version required.

Midlife Unplugged started with honest conversations about what midlife really looks like.

Relationships. Divorce. Careers. Family. Bodies. Identity. Starting again.

But as the conversations grew, so did the show.

Because sometimes the biggest questions aren’t really about age at all. They’re about the life we’re living, the choices we’ve made, the things we’ve tolerated and the truths we’re finally ready to say out loud.

What do we talk about?

Pretty much the things that don’t always make it into everyday conversation.

Relationships & divorce
Careers & starting again
Bodies & ageing
Identity & expectations
Family, friendship & grief
Confidence, fear & judgment
The choices we’ve made for other people
The things we stayed in too long
The truths we’ve kept to ourselves

There’s no one version of midlife, womanhood or starting again.

So there shouldn’t be one version of the conversation either.

THE CONVERSATION IS CHANGING

Seasons 1 and 2 opened the door to honest conversations about women, midlife and everything that comes with it.

Season 3 takes that honesty a little further.

Less polished success story.
More of what happened behind it.

The decisions people questioned. The relationships we should have left sooner. The parts of life that looked fine from the outside but didn’t feel fine at all.

And the questions we don’t always get asked.

Sometimes they’re uncomfortable.
Sometimes they’re overdue.

Either way, they’re worth talking about.

  • Who did you have to disappoint to finally become yourself?

  • What part of your life looked successful from the outside but was quietly destroying you?

  • When was the last time you chose yourself instead of keeping everyone else comfortable?

These are the kinds of conversations we’re making room for in Season 3.
No rehearsed answers required.

The people behind the stories

Every guest brings something different to the conversation.
Some have had to rebuild.
Some have walked away.
Some have made choices nobody around them understood.
Some have reached a point where they simply couldn’t keep pretending everything was okay.
And some have something they’ve wanted to say for a long time.
I’m interested in the story behind the version everyone else saw.
Because that’s usually where the conversation gets interesting.

Every episode is different because every person who sits down with me brings their own story, experience and point of view.

You might find something that feels familiar.
You might hear something you completely disagree with.
Or you might hear one sentence that stays with you long after the episode ends.

You don’t need a perfectly packaged story.
Actually, I’d rather you didn’t have one.

If you’ve lived through something that changed you, made a choice people didn’t understand, questioned the life you were living or have something you think women need to hear, I’d love to know more.

Bring the real version.
We’ll start there.
